Longer reach probes
29 September 2014
Following the successful launch of the LMT point level sensor, ifm electronic has developed new versions so even more users can benefit from the LMT’s ability to ignore tricky deposits and even foam.

While the first three versions of the LMT were short probes designed for minimal intrusion, the new LMT units will reach further into a vessel to detect levels of all media, from liquid and viscous fluids to bulk materials.
Greater reach means probes that are 153 or 253mm long, increasing installation options through insulated sidewalls, or at an angle. New versions with ¾” or 1” threads, 28 and 38mm long respectively, have also been added to the range.
