Chance to harvest RTP deals
09 February 2015
With spring around the corner, Schoeller Allibert is offering a selection of deals in its seasonal promotion across a wide range of harvesting and distribution trays for the fresh produce sector.

Schoeller Allibert, manufacturer of plastic containers and reusable transit packaging (RTP), is offering savings on crates and bulk boxes for all varieties of fruit and vegetables. Savings are available only on advance orders placed by February 27.
The offer includes 10 models of harvesting and distribution containers including Maxinest produce trays, field crates and Geobox bulk containers.
Schoeller Allibert’s Maxinest stack-nest trays are suitable for harvesting and distribution of most fruit and vegetables, from bulkier items such as cauliflower and cabbages through to apples, pears, salads and herbs. For more delicate produce, such as tomatoes and mushrooms, the offer includes the smaller 15L Maxinest half-tray. Maxinest trays fit with all standard distribution and display cabinet arrangements and work seamlessly with the latest filling, weighing, handling and pallet storage methods. As a retail-ready product, they reduce handling times and the ventilated design promotes air circulation helping prolong shelf life.
Also included in the promotion are bi-colour stack-nest 50L containers, 45L stacking field crates and 43L ventilated stacking containers. The stack-nest containers securely stack when loaded and nest by turning through 180°, offering a 70% space saving on return journeys. Designed to suit conveyors and other automated equipment, they have solid sides and base and the bi-colour design provides identification of the stack/nest position. The ventilated stacking containers are suitable both for food handling and plant propagation, seed potato chitting and vegetable harvesting.
For bulky produce, the spring promotion includes Schoeller Allibert’s ventilated Geobox with a choice of two or three runners. This large-capacity, robust container is suitable for heavy-duty stacking to 10-high and is capable of carrying a 450kg load.
Stephanie Carr, national field sales manager says: "Our seasonal promotions are designed to help producers and retailers prepare for busy periods by planning ahead for their transit packaging requirements with the added bonus of some excellent money-saving opportunities. This promotion is focused on harvesting and distribution and features some of our most popular products.”
