Welding equipment validation

03 July 2015

Kemppi’s ArcValidator is an automated and universal solution for welding equipment validation. It offers fast, consistent and thorough welding equipment validation, meeting the requirements of ISO 3834 and EN 50504 standards.

Benefits claimed include 80% faster validations, effortless reporting and standards-compliant documentation and certificate creation. It is compatible with all brands and models of welding machines and welding processes with absolute unit meters.

ArcValidator is used for current, voltage and wire feed speed validation of welding power sources and wire feeders. In guided manual mode it is compatible with most welding equipment with absolute unit meters – irrespective of brand or type.

With a range of advanced Kemppi FastMig and KempArc equipment, an automatic validation mode is also available. ArcValidator automatically controls and operates the validated equipment – a power source or a wire feeder – through the remote control connection during the validation process.

The user can choose either standard validation (normal accuracy) or precision validation (higher level of accuracy) according to European Standard EN 50504.

ArcValidator RC (Remote Control) is a smart handheld device that fits in the palm of the hand. With it, the user can validate welding equipment using the ArcValidator L 650 load bank and transfer the saved validation data reports to the ArcValidator PC application to give them the final touch. The official validation certificates can then be printed.
