30 June 2016
FLIR's latest addition to its TG series is the TG167 spot thermal camera which bridges the gap between single-spot IR thermometers and FLIR’s thermal cameras.

The rugged TG167 is equipped with FLIR’s micro thermal camera, allowing users to see the heat, making it easy to target potential problems.
Combining fast electrical troubleshooting with 'grab and go' simplicity, the device is easy to operate without special training. Compact and durable, it stows easily stow in a crowded tool bag.
The TG167 has a narrow field of view (25° horizontal), compared to the TG165’s wider field of view (50° horizontal). TheTG167 can be used to look for hotspots in electrical cabinets, switch boxes, and more. Both versions allow you to store images and download data so that you can document your findings in a report.
