Free heating 'health check'

03 February 2017

Industrial heating specialist EOGB Energy Products has launched a new service which aims to help companies and organisations save money on their fuel bills.

The ‘Heating Health Check’ service, which is offered free of charge, involves a specialist EOGB engineer visiting a site and carrying out a full plant inspection to check current efficiency performance. An analysis of the combustion process is performed and the customer receives a full report with recommendations and estimated savings based on their current fuel tariff.

The report gives an overview of heating perfomance and outlines what savings can be made with either basic plant adjustments or upgrades to the burner or controls. It also addresses the payback period by providing a full illustration of the timescales involved.

Martin Cooke, technical director at EOGB said: “We know that process heating can be expensive, but many people are unaware of how much they can save with only very minor adjustments. Our health check service aims to give an honest evaluation of how a heating system is performing with the aim of helping companies to significantly reduce their bills.”
