Glove combines comfort, dexterity and cut protection

09 February 2017

Hand protection specialist Globus has launched SKYTEC Tegata, a new glove that is said to provide cut protection, comfort, dexterity and grip.

Designed for workers in a wide range of industries from aerospace and construction through to manufacturing and waste management, the palm-dipped lightweight Tegata glove offers level 3 cut resistance.

The thin polyurethane coating applied to the seamless liner enables the wearer to enjoy a secure grip in dry and light oily handling conditions, making it suitable for precision handling tasks where cut hazards exist. The low particulate shed also makes Tegata suitable for those working in the electronics industry.

High level dexterity and tactility have been combined with comfort and flexibility to increase worker compliance within specified safety processes. The addition of a sanitized antimicrobial finish provides extra freshness and an elasticated knitted wrist provides a secure, comfortable fit.

The result is a hardwearing glove that conforms to EN388:2003, in addition to level 3 cut resistance.
