Mini chuck
18 March 2017
The TOPlus mini from Hainbuch is a chuck with an extra small interference contour.

Today, more than ever before, workpiece blanks have less oversize so it is often not just the chip size, but rather the complete machining that is important.
Through better tool accessibility, with chucks of the mini series, shorter and thus more stable tools can be used on the main and sub spindles which has a direct influence on the surface quality.
For Hainbuch's entirely new chuck series the mass has been reduced by 38% while the chuck diameter and the overall length have also been considerably minimised by 1/3 and /14 respectively.
