Drop-on-demand inkjet printers
21 January 2018
Needham Coding has introduced the ‘S’ series of drop-on-demand inkjet printers to complement the Sauven Marking ink business which its sister company, Needham Inks, acquired in 2015.

The new Needham Coding ‘S’ series is suitable for secondary packaging applications, including product, carton, box and web printing. All three models in the range are said to offer excellent print quality and a range of market leading features.
Depending on the model, the ‘S’ series printer is capable of printing up to eight lines of text per print head, 17mm maximum total print height per print head and up to 100m/min print speed.
Aled Ellis, MD at Needham Coding comments: “We had a gap in our portfolio for an own-brand range of drop-on-demand inkjet printers that would complement the Sauven ink business that we purchased a few years ago. Following discussions with existing users of Sauven printers it was evident that they required like-for-like inkjet technology.
“As a result, the new ‘S’ series is a low cost, simple inkjet printing solution backed by our dedicated service and support team and offering access to a wide range of consumables including fast drying solvent based inks and oil based inks for use on porous substances like card and paper.”
