Wrapping system for awkward pallets
16 January 2018
Having enjoyed success with its Samson Nano pallet wrapping system, with its ‘price per pallet’ charging system and bespoke inbuilt reporting software. Samuel Grant Packaging has now launched the Samson Nano Ferret as a solution to big or awkward pallets that are unable to fit onto a standard turntable.
Developed by Italian engineers, Ferret is the direct translation of their name for the machine – ‘Viverra’. Samuel Grant Packaging believes it to be quite apt for this little machine from a Yorkshire company that 'ferrets its way around difficult sized pallets'.
The Ferret will be available on the same ‘price per wrapped pallet’ basis as the existing Samson Nano, meaning that the machine, as well as its maintenance and upkeep are capex free, as is the film – clients simply pay a fixed price per wrapped pallet. As with the Samson Nano, the machine is optimised to make the most of Samson’s Nano 33 layer stretchfilm, ensuring a high degree of stability, and making sure that clients’ goods reach their destination in perfect condition.
The machine is fitted with inbuilt reporting software so clients can see how the machine is operating from wherever they may be.
“We are hugely excited about this addition to our range,” says Andrew Grant, managing director of Samuel Grant Packaging. “The Samson Nano Ferret solves a lot of the problems our clients were facing, and gives us the opportunity to assist a more diverse range of clients.”
