Fan upgrade offers energy savings
26 January 2018
For over 30 years Swegon have been helping Britain’s industries keep up and running by servicing, maintaining and repairing their critical process cooling and air conditioning systems.

Swegon says changing old belt driven fans and motors with EC direct drive plug fans helps to remove any energy loss through transmission and also saves annual belt replacement costs (on average £200 per year). Swegon's fans are fully compatible with most systems, meaning simple and cost-effective upgrades can be carried out with minimal disruption and downtime. An upgrade also means a system becomes relatively maintenance free and far more reliable.
Swegon’s EC direct drive motors can achieve a peak efficiency of more than 90%. This is far greater than traditional AC motors with frequency inverters can achieve.
