Spring pressure speeds installation
22 March 2018
WAGO will be showing its new sensor terminal block which reduces cabling and panel space requirements, a lever connector that connects cable-to-cable and cable-to-board, and a new range of ruggedized I/O modules for use in extreme environments.

Reliability is underpinned, says WAGO, by Cage Clamp spring connections. These are quick to install and are said to have greater immunity to vibration and temperature cycling compared to screw connections.
The benefits of spring pressure connection will be demonstrated at the show on a variety of industrial components – from individual splicing connectors and terminal blocks, to IIoT-ready PLCs and I/O modules.
Fine modularity and fieldbus-independence are hallmarks of WAGO’s I/O system, which can handle individual tasks all the way up to complex processes across an almost limitless range of industries and applications. Stand D860
