Monitors HAV and WBV
30 April 2018
Following two years of market study and technical development, Earlsmere has launched the 'Limpet', technology for monitoring HAV and WBV.

Limpet works using the latest Bluetooth technology, powered by a replaceable coin cell battery, giving up to two years of use. It requires no multi part accessories, such as docking stations, chargers, cables or hosting service .
Limpet is fitted to a tool by the operator. It can be pre-programmed with the operator's allowed daily exposure level by a manager /supervisor or device such as a mobile phone using Earlsmere’s Toolminder Active App by the operator at point of use.
Vibration levels are recorded and displayed to the operator by way of LED Traffic Lights. Limpet will store and transmit the recorded data back to a host system via WIFI.
To complement the Limpet, Earlsmere has launched a rugged RFID-enabled 5in mobile device which allows for programming and communication with the Limpet.
The Limpet system can also be fitted with RFID for Tool tracking and identification. Limpet is designed to work with Earlsmere’s Toolminder software for total asset tracking and control.
