Pat systems delivered to hire firm

The system comprises Toolminder software, Megger 450 Pat tester, RFID scanner or barcode reader and label printer.

After scanning a barcode or RFID tag on the equipment for test, the system automatically locates the asset with all its database information and downloads the test requirements to the Megger 450. The operator is then prompted to perform the required tests.

Following testing, the printer produces a test label for affixing to the equipment tested, together with a Test Certificate if required. The test results are automatically up dated to the database.

Additional benefits gained from using the system are, proof of test, location, date and time and operator conducting the test. Location of assets, frequency of hire through testing and traceability of assets between location are also recorded. The Earlsmere system is linked to VP’s G42 system for traceability and verification
