Free automotive NVH seminar
21 January 2019
AcSoft Group, is hosting a free one-day seminar covering Noise, Vibration & Harshness (NVH) testing for electric, hybrid and traditionally powered vehicles on 13th March 2019 at the National Conference Centre in Solihull, West Midlands.

The AcSoft Group event, which is being supported by GRAS Sound & Vibration A/S, gfai tech, Microflown Technologies, Meggitt and Crystal Instruments, will comprise five presentations covering the following key subjects:
The next generation of specialist acoustic sensors for premium NVH sensors
Designing damping treatment for a vehicle body based on particle velocity measurements
Important criteria for selecting the right accelerometer for NVH
Acoustic camera in powertrain benchmarking and development
Vibration testing on electric cars and components
The seminar will also include four interactive workshops covering sound source detection with beamforming and advanced algorithms, noise source identification, brake and engine noise, and repeatable measurements for TPA applications.
Key speakers at the event are Mehregan Bagherpour, Principal Powertrain NVH Engineer at Changan and Consultant NVH Engineer Jose Luis Lopez who will be giving a presentation on vibration testing on electric cars and components.
In addition, Lars Winberg, Automotive Specialist at GRAS Sound & Vibration A/S, Daniel Fernandez, CTO at Microflown Technologies and Philippe de Cordemoy from Meggitt Sensing Systems will be presenting.
