Fluke Reliability Unveils Modular Shaft Alignment Solution to Boost Uptime and Cut Costs
26 June 2025
FLUKE RELIABILITY has launched a new modular Shaft Alignment solution designed to reduce energy use, maintenance costs, and unplanned downtime. Compatible with Pruftechnik’s single-laser alignment tools, the system includes rugged tablets, the FRS Shaft Alignment App, and SensAlign alignment heads (3, 5, and 7).

Misalignment is a major cause of equipment failure, responsible for 50% of unplanned downtime. Even a minor offset in a 75 KW pump can cost over $1,700 annually in utility expenses. With up to 90% of industrial machines misaligned, precision alignment offers significant savings.
The solution’s modular design allows companies to start with only the components they need and scale over time. The rugged tablet, IP65-rated for dust and water resistance, is available in locked (alignment-only) and unlocked (supports additional apps like CMMS and thermal imaging) versions.
Key benefits include:
- Intuitive touch interface
- Simplified reporting
- Adaptive alignment with single-laser precision
- Access to expert support and virtual training
"Our latest solution is built for today’s reliability challenges—modular, scalable, and designed to help teams do more with less," said Aaron Merkin, CTO of Fluke Reliability.
Pruftechnik, a Fluke brand, brings over 40 years of alignment expertise to this innovation.
