LED safety lighting and high frequency charger

31 July 2019

Known for its electrification technology for vehicles and mobile machinery, Curtis Instruments has developed products that help OEMs and dealers enhance the safety and performance of their ranges. Some will feature at IMHX 2019.

In addition to a wide range of coloured LED safety lighting, recently re-launched at 20% lower costs, Curtis UK will be displaying its latest high frequency charger, the small, powerful and flexible Tempo.

It is multi-voltage, with a wide ampere hour rating (36-72V, 10-130A), in two suitcase sized, three phase models. Just two chargers fit dozens of battery applications, including lead acid, AGM and Gel. A colour-change-logo acts as a quick-view charge status indicator. Curtis UK says you won’t be disappointed by this addition to its large range of on-board and freestanding 50HZ and HF models for all battery types.

To strengthen its capability to provide first-class systems integration and applications engineering services to major UK and European vehicle and mobile machinery manufacturers, Curtis is opening a dedicated UK Engineering Centre in the North East of England. With the ever expanding global demand for Curtis products and engineering skills, the UKEC will allow the company to continue to serve its existing customers. It will also provide the bandwidth and skillsets to serve a new customer base within the exciting EV market. Based in the Newcastle/Sunderland area, amongst a cluster of high-tech companies within what is rapidly becoming a hub for the drive to electrification, this new team will help deliver the Curtis products of the future.

At IMHX, the stand team will include charging solution experts and members of the company's applications engineering team, as well as senior members of the management team, including MD, David Wilkes.  Faces you will have become familiar with across the years, as well as new customer support and engineering recruits as they come onboard.

Now in its 45th year, Curtis UK invites you to visit the company at IMHX. Stand 20F75. www.curtisinst.co.uk
