RS Components wins European Distribution Gold Award
26 September 2022
RS COMPONENTS has received a European Distribution Gold Award 2022 from TDK Corporation in the High Service Distribution category.

"RS has proven excellence by delivering highest levels of performance to us as a supplier and to its extensive customer base," said Dietmar Jaeger, head of TDK's Global Distributor Division. "To win TDK's distribution award for 'High Service' following on from its success in previous years is showing the close partnership and willingness for continuous improvement we require from our best-in-class distributors."
TDK's distribution awards are based on Senten Manten which is a Japanese term that represents the perfect result, and each year TDK presents its Senten Manten distributor performance awards based on a strict evaluation programme across several criteria including business performance, inventory management, contractual terms and operational excellence.
"We have a long-term commitment to the partnership with the excellent team at TDK," said Andy Keenan, VP for product and supplier management electronics at RS. "The TDK brand is synonymous with excellence and therefore this relationship is a perfect fit as we look to deliver a best-in-class service to our customers to provide them with fast and easy access to the latest products and solutions."
