Sensors and switches on show

06 June 2019

Sensata Technologies will feature pressure sensors and switches for use in boiler, pump and HVAC applications at Sensor + Test 2019 from 25 to 27 June.

Sensata’s new 116CP pressure sensor features a patented design derived from automotive grade pressure sensing technology. Said to be cost-efficient, it leverages the same proven technology as the 60/70CP, but in a plastic housing that makes it suitable for residential and other lower cost pump applications.

The 116CP is offered in a wide range of configurations, including various pressure ports, electrical outs and pressure ranges from between 0-4 to 0-16 bar.

Also at the show, the new PS80 automatic reset pressure switch was designed for use in boiler, air conditioning and liquid-related applications. Its wide range of pressure settings, port fittings and electrical connections makes it a versatile solution. Of robust, non-electric construction, it safely operates under high pressure conditions (to 50 bar), helping to reduce maintenance costs and return rates.

Several products from Sensata’s range of speed and positioning sensors will also be exhibited in Germany for the first time. These include the new ACW4 Single Turn and TCW4 Multi Turn Absolute Hall Effect Sensors, which feature an over-moulded, two-part modular construction that provides engineers with a high degree of design flexibility. Sensing electronics are encased in a thermoplastic polyamide shell, while the separate activating magnet is external to the sensor assembly.

The company invites visitors to stop by Stand 1-555 or arrange a meeting with its team at the show.
