Supporting the digital journey

11 February 2019

Endress+Hauser is inviting readers to visit the company in Manchester for a showcase of its Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) apps.

The company says its Hololens mixed reality glasses offer a glimpse of the future. By using the Vision Blue App, engineers can identify problems remotely and collaborate with workers on-site in real time. Plant operators can learn how to install, commission and maintain their assets without needing a technician on site.

Scanner App

Endress+Hauser's Scanner App enables companies to digitise their plant. Take a photo of your instrument, save some data and there you have it – a digital twin. It can be used to create lists, organise assets and increase your knowledge of your installed base. Everything will be instantly available on your mobile devices. Alternatively, Endress+Hauser's Edge device will do it all automatically.

Health App

The Health App will help users understand how to react when an unexpected event occurs on a key component of the production line or plant, providing wherever you are, a deep source of knowledge related to the maintenance and care of your assets – making maintenance simple.
