Manufacturer of the Flexi range of
articulated forklift trucks, Narrow
Aisle Flexi, has won
a contract to supply
Flexi EURO trucks to
the Leipzig factory of
automotive
components supplier,
Magna Intier. The
Flexi trucks are used
to deliver
components from an
on-site storage
warehouse directly to
the production line.
Thanks to the Flexi EURO's compact dimensions and ability to work both inside the warehouse and factory and outside to unload incoming deliveries,Magna Intier is able to use the articulated forklifts to do work that previously required both counterbalance and reach trucks. This has led to a significant reduction in forklift fleet operating costs, as well as increasing storage capacity by 25% compared to the method previously used by the company.
