Space saving solution
14 October 2015
A switch to Flexi NANO technology has saved space and alleviated potential production headaches for Devon-based Bluemay Weston producer of a range of non-metallic components.
The company decided earlier this year to reconfigure pallet racking within its facility around a narrow aisle layout and replace a counterbalanced truck with a Flexi AC NANO articulated truck from Narrow Aisle.
The Flexi AC NANO was introduced to provide an entry-level articulated forklift that can lift loads weighing up to 1.6t to heights of 5m. Thanks to its front wheel drive technology that allows the truck’s front end and load to articulate through 220°, the NANO is said to offer optimum pallet put-away and retrieval in aisles as narrow as 1.6m.
