With the launch of its new IP56-
rated, CFW-08 'Wash' frequency
inverter, WEG is providing protection
for inverter drive applications in the
food, beverage, and chemical
industries.
The CFW-08 Wash is designed for applications that require a higher degree of protection against the ingress of contaminants; the drive's IP56 (Nema 4X) rating providing effective safeguarding against the ingress of dust and water.
The unit benefits from WEG's Space Vector Modulation for optimised motor control and quiet operation. It also offers the performance benefits of 32-bit RISC microprocessor controlled PWM output, and the flexibility and convenience of adjustable switching frequencies of 2.5/5/10/15kHz.
