Sustainability was the key theme for WEG at SPS/IPC/Drives 2012, as it launched a new energy efficient motor. According to WEG, the motor is the only complete standard range available that meets the yet-to-beratified IE4 regulations, meaning users can increase energy efficiencies throughout their automation processes and applications.

Visitors were able to see live demonstrations of the new motor and meet WEG's technical specialists to discuss the latest innovations in electric motors and automation. WEG also displayed its extensive range of electric motors, and launched the new CFW500 inverter drive.
