Forklift operators at the West
Yorkshire site of candy maker, Pecan
Deluxe Candy (Europe), spend up to
90% of their day shuttling goods
outside.While this is pleasant on
sunny days, increasingly harsh British
winters were taking their toll on the
company's fleet of trucks and its
workforce, impacting productivity.
These issues have been resolved with a new fleet of trucks from local authorised Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks dealer, Rushlift. The fleet includes a versatile 1600kg capacity pedestrian power pallet truck, which transports loads over distances of up to 20m. And, thanks to four highly specified 2t electric counterbalance trucks (FB20NT), there is no need for any operator to endure the elements while shuttling products outdoors.
