CVK has introduced a waterresistant
version of its HealthVib
HAV vibration system. Available from
Campbell Associates, the vibration
transducer is built into the user's
safety glove for hand arm vibration
assessments. It takes measurements
in compliance with the requirements
of ISO 5349, quickly and simply. A
water resistant casing means it can
be used in moist environments to
deliver accurate results.
The user puts his/her hands in the gloves and presses the wireless button to connect both hands to a wireless logging device. The X,Y and Z direction data is recorded from both hands and collected on the logging device. Batteries and memory have capacity to run for more than one shift. The logger is connected to a PC for post processing and reporting and assessing exposure.
The HealthVib WBV human vibration dosimeter measures whole body vibrations in three directions. It measures and analyses WBV on drivers sitting as required by ISO 2631-1 and EU directive 2002/44/EG.
