Noise at work monitoring
19 September 2013
At this year's Health & Safety North event Campbell Associates will launch the latest addition to its range of measurement equipment for human exposure to noise and vibration (Stand 26).

soundBadge is a new generation of dosimeter. Designed by industry specialists for workplace noise measurements, the instrument is uncomplicated, compact and lightweight. It is worn by the operative and accurate noise levels are monitored in real time via the clear LCD screen. Data is downloaded easily to a PC via a mini USB connection, and reports can be generated using soundViewer software (supplied).
Also on display will be an illuminated sign – soundEar. Using a red/amber/green warning system, the kit automatically alerts employees when hearing protection must be worn in line with Noise at Work Regulations 2005.
