Prospect of energy savings

The new Spirax Sarco training prospectus covers steam system training that is designed to boost skills, cut costs and improve the efficiency of steam plant operations.

An important new addition for 2011 is the Boiler Plant Regulations and Guidelines course (D8). This provides a broad overview of legislation, guidance and best practice for boiler operators and helps users, or potential users, to understand their legal obligations.

On the Energy Savings course (E1), delegates learn about energy saving opportunities in steam systems, how to estimate the energy requirements of a steam plant and how to calculate the payback period. The application of these skills and energy saving ideas can make a significant impact on an organisation's energy bills.

Also included in the 2011 schedule is the Boiler Operation Accreditation Scheme (BOAS) Refresher course (D6AR).
