The service and maintenance
division of Walter Meier has advised
that operators of process
refrigeration and air conditioning
equipment need to ensure their
maintenance regimes address an
array of regulations and legislation.
Service director,Martin Poyner, said: "Service providers should also ensure the plant is running at optimum efficiency as part of their planned maintenance strategy. This will minimise energy costs, and the requirement to purchase carbon allowances under the Carbon Reduction Commitment Energy Efficiency Scheme or the EU Emissions Trading Scheme." The service and maintenance division offers a service with a range of Climate Care programmes for planned and reactive maintenance.
They are designed to improve energy efficiency, extend equipment life and reduce the workload of in-house facilities personnel.
