Wellman Thermal Services, has
recently secured two major boiler
contracts for Heathrow and
Manchester airports.
At Heathrow, BAA a is constructing a new Energy Centre for Terminals 2 and 5 where the first two 10mW low pressure hot water boilers are being installed. Each is fitted with dual fuel burners which allow the boilers to be fired on either natural gas or light oil.
At Manchester Wellman is replacing four 40 year old Allen Ygnis boilers; Allen Ygnis boilers are widely used throughout the UK and still available today from Wellman. The new gas fired,medium pressure hot water boilers, each rated at 3250kW output are being installed to provide heating for Manchester Airport's Terminal One building.
