Tools for hire

BSS Industrial has launched 'Hire- It', a tool hire initiative set to roll out to selected trade counters. Working in partnership with TP Hire, the tool hire division of parent company Travis Perkins, BSS Industrial branches will offer new equipment including pressing tools, threading machines and welding equipment.

Launched in February, five BSS Industrial branches now include Hire-It implants; Newcastle, Manchester, Bristol, Reading and Romford. More will follow.

Frank Elkins, MD, said: "We understand that sourcing equipment for hire can be time-consuming and costly. Hire-It is designed to provide a solution whereby these needs can be met at the same time as buying materials we've traditionally offered."
