New special oil for continuous panel presses in the wood-based panel industry
May 2012 - Klüber Lubrication is now launching the high-performance oil Klübertherm CH 2-260 especially for the lubrication of friction points on chains and steel belts in continuous fibreboard presses. This oil completes the range of high-temperature oils offered by this supplier of speciality lubricants. Klübertherm CH 2-260 is based on new and unique raw materials that ensure outstanding performance characteristics; even at temperatures as high as 250 °C and more, Klübertherm CH 2-260 shows excellent resistance to evaporation forming minimal residues and ensuring low friction in machines.
"Klübertherm CH 2-260 significantly eases cleaning and maintenance requirements for operators", says Thomas Krammer, Head of Business Unit Wood-Based Panel Industry at Klüber Lubrication. "The oil and current consumption can be reduced and operators can fully utilize the capacity of their systems."
In Conti presses, the new special oil allows energy and cost savings and contributes to a smooth, reliable operation.
Klüber Lubrication, set up as a retail company for mineral oil products in Munich in 1929, is today part of Freudenberg Chemical Specialities KG, a Business Unit of the Freudenberg Group, Weinheim. In 2011, Klüber Lubrication had approximately 1900 employees in more than 30 countries.
