Kimberly Access has ordered 50 SanctuaryZones from WorkZone.

These are designed to prevent operators from being crushed.

Group operations director Alex Lowe said: "It is a robust tried and tested device that is easy to install and will fit onto our boom lifts without us having to make the timeconsuming adjustments that would have been necessary with electronic anti-crushing devices.

"We are very impressed that SanctuaryZone has been made readily available to everyone. This is a very mature attitude and I wish other companies could be as open; there should be no barriers to safety." It comes in flat pack format and takes about 20min to assemble. It can then be fitted to a boom lift in minutes.
