J6S-X range of steam traps from TLV
Euro Engineering have been sized to
complement the company's existing J
series range of traps.
The CF8-grade stainless-steel J6SX steam traps feature thermostatic air venting, which operates using the temperature difference between steam and air. Its combination of precision-ground float, constant water seal ensures a steam tight seal, even under no-load conditions.
The free-float steam traps can be installed on a variety of equipment that uses steam as a heat source.
They provide continuous, smooth, relatively low-velocity condensate discharge as loads vary. The selfmodulating design features a single moving part - the free float - which prevents concentrated wear and provides a long, low-maintenance life. In addition to its compact size and larger condensate discharge capacities, J6S-X steam traps have an 'X-element' to provide a powerful, automatic air vent function.
Stainless steel construction makes the J6S-X suitable for specifications requiring high levels of durability and corrosion resistance. Maximum operating temperature for the range is 220°C.
