A steam training seminar from TLV
Euro Engineering covering the
efficient use of process steam has
achieved a Level 3 BTEC Advanced
Award, offering a nationally
recognised qualification.
The BTEC-approved syllabus explains the fundamentals of steam and condensate; system design, pipe sizing, valve sizing and best practice; steam trap testing, management and maintenance; improving efficiency and reducing losses; pressure reduction, temperature control and metering; and trapping and condensate return. This is followed by a multiple-choice examination, written paper and observation-based test to gain certification.
The three-day seminars are held at TLV's training facility in Germany, where the flow dynamics of steam and condensate systems can be viewed and participants receive hands-on training from steam system experts.
