igus UK has launched a cost-effective
plain bearing that is fire retardant
and classified according to stringent
UL94 with V0 fire regulations.
The iglidur GV0 offers similar allround properties to the company's plain bearing material iglidur G, such as high load capacity at low to medium sliding velocities and good wear resistance on most different shaft materials, but has an upper long-term application temperature of 130°C and an upper short-term application temperature of 210°C. It has a density of 1.53g/cm3.
