Alternative to traditional air conditioning

cooling can be used as an
alternative to air conditioning
in most buildings. The company says
it can provide 90% energy savings at
the same capital cost or less than a
traditional air conditioning or
ventilation system.
A carefully sized ventilation system is designed to maintain a constant flow of fresh air into the building. During warm periods evaporative cooling is used to cool the air before it enters the building.
This simple technology can provide 35kW of cooling from 1.5kW of electricity and can be used for spot cooling of work stations or the cooling of complete buildings including factories, warehouses, offices and server rooms. The internal environment is monitored continuously by the EcoCooling control system which automatically alters the fan speed of the coolers to provide compliant conditions within the building. The supply air temperature in the UK will never go above 22°C. The control systems link into any existing BMS system.
The system is said to be safe and low maintenance. It has no refrigerants and needs just 13A of power and a mains water supply.
