Keeping cool
09 December 2016
EcoCooling direct evaporative cooling can be used as a carbon friendly alternative to air conditioning. The company says Coolers can provide up to 90% energy savings at a fraction of the capital cost of a traditional air conditioning or ventilation system.

EcoCoolers are safe, cost effective and require only simple maintenance. Their low power use has little impact on the site maximum demand (cool a 15m diameter area for 1.5kW electricity).
Suitable for cooling factory floors and mezzanines or for spot cooling tasks, EcoCooling units are available in a number of different sizes and configurations. This product flexibility can help reduce installation and maintenance costs and means a wider range of buildings are feasible.
In the last 10 years the price of controls systems has reduced, resulting in an increase in popularity for industrial installations. EcoCooling offers versatile and bespoke control systems that can plug into existing BMS and monitoring systems to help optimise the efficiency of the EcoCoolers.
There are over 3500 installations including Cummins Diesel, Net-a-Porter, RPC, Cott Beverages, Premier Foods, TK Max.
