detailing Ingersoll-Rand's ARO
EXPert double diaphragm pumps.
Thorite says that these are up to 40% more energy efficient than some competitors' products. The company says the saving per pump could be as much as 10cfm, which equates to the free air output of a 2.2kW compressor.
The pump's special air motor design means there is no sticking or freezing; service intervals are said to be up to four times longer than for some process pumps. A cost-effective service kit is available.
Diaphragm models offer a solution where pumps are needed with a gentle yet powerful action for working in hazardous areas.
