Ear defenders

The Peltor X ear defenders from 3M are a new range of ear defenders offering enhanced comfort and protection. The range has been awarded the red dot prize for excellence in product design.

The five models in the range offer increasing levels of protection, each is available as a headband or helmetmounted version. The range is colour-coded to provide easy recognition between levels.

Sarah Broadbent, technical services engineer for 3M Personal Safety Division, says: "The five levels of protection offered by the Peltor X Series from 3M make it suitable for a wide range of industries and tasks.

The new foam sealing rings on the higher attenuating ear defenders minimise bulk, making it easy to incorporate them with other PPE."
