Inductive sensor
24 July 2013
ifm’s new NT range of inductive sensors will work in oils and coolants, as well as generally wet areas, and are fully tested to IP65, IP66, IP67, IP68 and IP69K.

The new range of sensors has been designed to operate at -40°C and up to 85°C, so applications in cold stores or on mobile machinery can be handled with ease.
New manufacturing methods used in the construction of the NT are said to permit tighter tolerances in performance and enhanced reliability for machine operators.
The NT range has started with 60mm long connector versions of standard M12, M18 and M30 housings, flush or non-flush, pnp or npn, all with industry-standard M12 connection. Further units follow.
