At the recent Engineering Design Show Norgren showed items from its IVAC (integrated valve and actuator control) range, as well as products for the life sciences sector including miniature solenoid valves such as the Chipsol MS range, and both acrylic and aluminium manifold solutions.
IVAC is a weight and space optimised actuator, suitable for a range of bore sizes from 32mm to 100mm. It requires only one pneumatic and one electrical connection, eliminating the need for multiple valve islands, components, tubing and accessories. Its features include an integrated valve system and magnetically operated switches for complete actuator control.
The Chipsol MS line-up boasts compact size, low power consumption and is said to offer an unrivalled operating pressure range.
