Oldest compressors sought
15 January 2014
CompAir and Hydrovane have launched a competition to find the UK’s oldest working compressors, with the two lucky winners bagging a weekend for two in London, which will include a meal at the City’s oldest restaurant.
To mark their engineering heritage, the two brands (part of the Gardner Denver group), are encouraging anyone who has a CompAir or Hydrovane compressor that's in its ‘roaring twenties’, ‘triumphant at thirty’ or even ‘fab at forty’, to step forward.
The competition is free to enter. Simply visit: www.oldestcompressor.co.uk before the 4th April 2014. The two winners will be announced at the Air-Tech exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham, (8th to 10th April 2014). All entrants will be entitled to a free energy audit from an authorised distributor, helping them to identify current energy usage and assess their compressed air needs.
