CompAir, part of the Gardner Denver Group, is launching a new range of portable compressors with a Stage 3B emissions compliant engine.

The DLT0705 is being upgraded to the latest emission compliance regulations. This range includes models from 180 to 270cfm at operating pressures from 5 to 14 bar(g).
Designed for a wide range of applications in materials handling, general construction and agriculture markets, the new range is said to provide fuel savings of up 10% and an overall specific energy improvement of 7 to 8% compared with its predecessor.
The range features the Yanmar 4TNV98CT engine, which is a vertical cylinder, four-cycle, water-cooled diesel engine with direct injection and electronic regulation, producing 53.7kW maximum output at 2500 rpm.
The system has a standard diesel particulate filter (DPF) and is equipped with the new GD-4 Airend providing a free air delivery (FAD) of 7,4 cubic meters per minute at the rated speed.
The new compressor also optimises the original lightweight and quiet design of this range, with a 1200Kg towable weight, and low noise level of 98dBa.
Commenting on the launch, James Waldron at Gardner Denver said: “This new compressor strengthens our relationship with Yanmar and provides customers with an EU emissions-compliant, portable compressor that offers very good fuel efficiency and an excellent free air delivery rating.
“The Gardner Denver portable compressor range now has both EU emission and non-emission variants suitable for other markets, all developed on the same modular design and a common machine platform. This provides optimum manufacturing efficiency helping to deliver a very competitive range."
