Surface roughness gauge

At Advanced Engineering 2015, metrology specialist Blum-Novotest will demonstrate a host of tool and component probing solutions, including its new modular surface roughness gauge, the TC63-RG along with new software solutions for machine-integrated roughness measurement.
In principle, the TC63-RG surface roughness gauge is a combination of an analogue roughness sensor that integrates standard accessories such as extensions and angle attachments and a base device with the BRC radio transmission system.
The modular construction enables the user to adapt the system easily to their measurement requirements, which can be useful with large workpieces or difficult-to-access surfaces. The measurement resolution of the system is 70 nanometres. Stand E60
