Managing ESOS compliance
26 November 2015
International photographic and broadcast products and services company Vitec Group has appointed Minimise Solutions to manage its Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) compliance ahead of the 5 December 2015 notification deadline.

Vitec is a global provider of premium branded products and services to the Broadcast and Photographic markets. Vitec is listed on the London Stock Exchange with a 2014 revenue of £309.6m.
Currently the group has more than 1900 employees delivering 20 premium brands, working from five UK sites, including manufacturing plants in Bury St Edmunds and Ashby de la Zouch. It is exactly the type of organisation that the government hopes will benefit from undertaking ESOS compliance.
The Minimise Solutions team will assist Vitec with all of the actions required to submit a fully audited and compliant ESOS report to the Environment Agency ahead of the December deadline.
Minimise Solutions will:
- Gather energy consumption data from all of Vitec Group's UK buildings and transport activity
- Audit the data
- Identify energy conservation measures
- The final report will be reviewed by a fully qualified Lead Assessor
- It will then be submitted for Director sign off
- A notification of ESOS compliance will then be submitted to the Environment Agency
