EcoCooling direct evaporative cooling can be used as a carbon friendly alternative to air conditioning. The cooling systems are reported to deliver up to 90% energy savings at a fraction of the capital cost of a traditional air conditioning or ventilation system.
According to EcoCooling, EcoCoolers are safe, cost effective and require only simple maintenance. Their low power usage has little impact on the site maximum demand (cool a 15m diameter area for 1.5kW electricity).
