EcoCooling says its evaporative coolers can be used to provide cooling to most industrial buildings at a fraction of the cost of air-conditioning.

A carefully sized ventilation system is designed to maintain a constant flow of fresh air into the building. During warm periods evaporative cooling is used to cool the air, this is done by passing warm air over wet filter pads. Water evaporates into the air and the air is cooled as it gives up the heat to evaporate the water.

This simple technology can provide 35kW of cooling from 1.5kW of electricity and can be used for spot cooling of work stations or for the cooling of entire buildings, including factories, warehouses, offices and server rooms. The EcoCooling Control system automatically alters the fan speed of coolers to maintain the required conditions, while linking to any BMS system. Low maintenance, it has no refrigerants and needs only 12A of power and a mains water supply. Stand H22
