Roadster & lithium-ion
10 October 2016
At this year’s IMHX Linde Material Handling showcased the new Linde Roadster, and a lithium-ion powered counterbalance truck for the first time in the UK.

Created to increase field of view and safety, the E35 Roadster is an alternative configuration which applies to models E20 to E50. To increase visibility Linde has removed the A-pillars at the front and replaced the metal overhead guard roof with an armoured safety glass panel for increased visibility when driving and stacking loads.
Since the introduction of these maintenance-free lithium-ion (Li-ion) technology into Linde’s product portfolio, in addition to the initial 24 V battery, the company has introduced a 48 V battery to extend the range of trucks with this power source.
