Mobile packing conveyor delivers flexibility

A variety of conveyors were supplied for handling a range of products and various packaging through the system. These included modular belt conveyors, mobile belt conveyor and an ergonomic three tier packing station assembly, designed to create a more efficient way for operators to pack a wide assortment of products. 

Astec designed the conveyors in accordance with the customer’s requirements for a flexible operation, and being mobile, the conveyors can easily be moved to assist with cleaning. The conveyors were manufactured from stainless steel, each with a stainless steel control panel with variable speed.

Sales manager Paul Fox reported, “Although the project had a short lead time to meet the customer’s product launch date, Astec Conveyors designed, manufactured and delivered the conveyors on time and well within the client expectations.
