Welding solutions on show at MACH
22 February 2018
MACH 2018 takes place from 9th to 13th April at the NEC in Birmingham. Fronius UK will be presenting its capabilities within the field of welding.

Visitors to stand H20-957 will be able to view the TransSteel 2200 which offers welders multiprocess capability. The manual power source is said to be the first single phase, 3-in-1 welding machine for MIG/MAG, TIG and MMA welding applications with a multivoltage option available.
For the first time at a UK exhibition, Fronius will have its newly modified TIG process, ArcTig. Developed to help welders work more efficiently and reduce costs, ArcTig is an innovative mechanised joint welding process that allows users to weld up to 10mm thick alloy sheets and pipes without extensive seam preparation and reworking.
Manual TIG welding at Fronius has also had a refresh with the launch of two new power sources – the MagicWave 230i and the TransTig 230i. Both TIG machines are the first from Fronius that are able to communicate with other devices via Bluetooth, WLAN and NFC. The Fronius MagicWave 230i is an AC/DC power source with Active Wave technology making AC TIG welding much quieter whereas the TransTig 230i is a DC power source. See live demos of these machines on the Fronius stand.
Alongside the new products, Fronius will be showcasing its manual, robotic and automated welding solutions including the intelligent TPSi range with Cold Metal Transfer (CMT) technology for low heat input with an extremely stable arc, WeldCube data management system for gathering and analysing weld data, the robust and flexible TransPocket 150 and 180 including the multivoltage capabilities of the TransPocket 180 and much more. Live demonstrations will be available everyday.
